Free Crochet Headwrap Pattern (Textured)

Textured Crochet Headwrap/Ear Warmer/Headband
Materials
Size J Hook Headwrap
Size M Hook Flower
Worsted Weight Acrylic Yarn Approx 100 yds Yarn Needle
11/2 Button or 2 1 inch Buttons

Ch 67
Row 1: sc in each stitch across. 66 sc

Row 2: (Right side) Turn. *sk 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc, sk next 2 sc, sc in next sc* repeat from * to * 10 times. 11 clusters
Row 3: Turn, sl st in next 3 dc,* sk next 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc * repeat from * to * 9 more times. 10 clusters
Row 4: Turn, sl st in next 3 dc,* sk next 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc * repeat from * to * 8 more times. 9 clusters
Row 5: Turn, sl st in next 3 dc,* sk next 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc * repeat from * to * 7 more times. 8 clusters
Row 6: Turn, sl st in next 3 dc, *sk next 2 dc, 5 dc in next sc, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc* repeat from * to * 6 more times, 7 clusters. Fasten off weave in ends.
Row 7: With right side facing, attach yarn in end, working in stitches previously made in Row 2, *sk 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc, sk next 2 sc, sc in next sc*, repeat from * to * 10 times. 11 clusters.
Row 8: repeat row 3 Row 9: repeat row 4 Row 10: repeat row 5
Row 11: repeat row 6, do not finish off. sc (mark 1st sc as beginning)in each stitch to first end of wrap, work 4 sc evenly across end of wrap, ch 6, working in the previous 4sc,skip3 sc,sc in next sc,slst in the 5chs, slst in the last sc made on end (button loop made), continue working sc to
opposite end, work 4 sc evenly spaced across end of wrap, continue working sc across side to beginning sc. finish off. weave in ends. 

Flower
Ch 4 and join into a ring with 1 sl st in 1st chain.
Round 1: *1 sc in ring, ch 3, *repeat* - * a total of 3 times and finish with a sl st in 1st sc at
start of row = 3 ch-loops.

Round 2: Crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 1 sl st, 5 dc and 1 sl st = 3 petals. Turn piece and crochet the next row from flower’s back side.
Round 3: ch 1, 1 sc around first sc on row 1, ch 3, 1 sc in lower edge between the 3rd and 4th dc on first petal of row 2, then ch 3, 1 sc in lower edge between the 1st and 2nd dc on 2nd petals on row 2, then ch 3, 1 sc in lower edge between the 4th and 5th dc on petal on row 2, then ch 3, 1 sc in lower edge between the 1st and 2nd dc on 3rd petal on row 2, then ch 3, 1 sl st in 1st ch at start of row = 5 ch loops. Turn piece and crochet the next row from flower’s front side.
This is the start of the second petal layer
Round 4: Crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 1 sl st, 6 dc and 1 sl st = 5 petals. Turn piece and crochet the next row from the flower’s back side.

Round 5: ch 1, 1 sc around first sc on row 3, ch 3, 1 sc in lower edge of the 5th dc on first petal of row 4, then ch 3, 1 sc in lower edge of the 4th dc on 2nd petal of row 4, then ch 3, 1 sc in the lower edge of the 3rd dc of 3rd petal of row 4, then ch 3, 1sc in the lower edge of the 2nd dc of the 4th petal of row 4, then ch 3, then 1 sc in the lower edge of the 1st dc of
the 5th petal of row 4, then ch 3, 1 sl st in st ch at start of row = 6 ch loops. Turn piece and crochet the next row from the flower's front side.
This is the start of the outermost petal layer:
Round 6 Crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 1 sl st, 6 dc and 1 sl st = 6 petals.
Cut yarn and fasten.

Sew flower to headwrap at desired location.
Sew button to same end. You may use two smaller size buttons if you want it to be more adjustable.
